Vida’s top romantic New Year’s Eve Hotspots

05 Dec

New Year’s Eve is brimming with romance. Here are some of our favourite spots to ring in 2017.

Sydney Opera House Fireworks

Romantic New Year’s Eve nights are plentiful. Here are a few of my favourite hotspots to ring in 2017!

New York

Times Square is the place to be on New Year’s Eve in New York, but with temperatures that can plummet, you want a view, a prime position and access to warmth! The rooftop of the Knickerbocker Hotel is one of the best spots with an amazing view of the ball drop that takes place as the East Coast of American ticks over into 2017.

London

For a Thames River view of the spectacular fireworks over London check into the Corinthia Hotel for a bit of glamour and swank. Stunning rooms and suites with exceptional interior design a huge beds, it’s the place to be. For a bit of art deco glamour and old world swagger, book a suite at The Savoy for a stunning view down the Thames.

Paris

Les Ombres has a front row seat for the most magnifique view of the Eiffel Tower. Alternatively check into the fabulous Shangri La Hotel for a Parisian New Year’s Eve you’ll never forget. The view of the Eiffel Tower from this hotel is second to none. If the budget doesn’t stretch to the Shangri-La, check out One Fine Stay where a number of the gorgeous properties have Eiffel Tower views.

Sydney

Be one of the first in the world to see in the New Year with what are considered to be the best fireworks display on the planet. Sydney harbour is gorgeous any time of the year but on New Year’s Eve it is a glorious blaze of spectacular pyrotechnics. Anywhere on a boat is the way to go, or a reservation at Aria.
